Nobody bloody told me before. Damn you all.
omg.. thx how much would it cost total +tax and shipping for me to have them send it to New Jersey, USA?
I can tell you it is $284 CDN to be shipped to Kitchener .
My bill was $270 CDN shipped to Toronto. But then I chose the cheapest shipping. Heck my bill's already paid in full, so if they cancel or do anything with my G25 all hell's gonna break loose.
my bill would be 260 if I got to only take 6% tax, but I don't, I get the honour of taking the BC Provincial tax too.

*Awaiting patiently for my first paycheque of this hockey season*
The price we pay in the UK at Gameseek translates to $392 CAN inc shipping and sales tax. So don't grumble about $260

Yikes.

Talk about getting the bad end of the deal... that's pretty much what the MRSP originally was.
can this be right... dabs.com for £150? seems very cheap for dabs and for the other places I've seen it at!
Wow, nice price..almost worth canceling my Gameseek one for. I've shopped with dabs.com a few times, can't fault them.
I'm gonna have to wait until the end of October at least before I can afford to order one, hope there's still some left by then!

Dabs were good a few years ago, then their prices couldn't compete with other sites like Savastore, but Savastore doesn't seem to have it, yet anyway.
I suggest you guys look up these shops online at http://www.resellerratings.com/ , they have customer ratings to their service, support, and all that other important stuff. If you find some off-name company selling it for cheap, I would be hesitant. And I would especially look for reviews on that place/website.

On the front page there, in the middle, there is a Store Search.

And here is an example review of Dabs.... http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1165.html lol its crap

It seems that have "slight" problems with returning faulty stuff
Man... I've been waiting for it to show up in local stores to go out and grab it, and as each day crawls by, I wonder if I've made a big mistake...

I mean, I hoped when they showed I'd just be able to run over right away and grab one. I pass by a series of computer stores each day on my way home from work, and I check their websites daily (BestBuy and CompUSA, as well as a fewer smaller stores that specialize in gaming). However, I've seen no mention of G25 in any of them. Pre-order or otherwise...

I think tommorow I'm going to stop in each and every one of them and ask in person, but I'm starting to fear that my tactic to ensure I get it as soon as I can without waiting on shipping might backfire, and I won't find one sitting on a shelf for months . The only thing I have going for me is, apparently, Race Sims aren't that big in the US, so not many people are going to be in the market for a $300, 900degree turn wheel with a H-Stick. I hope...

Man... I really hope I get it soon... The anxiety is killing me... At least it gives me plenty of time to read up on setup tuning, which should help when I have a whole mess of cars to drive, but I can't put any theory to practice without my wheel (because I suck at driving with the mouse).

Need... Soon...
Yea, and buy S2 while your at it, if you can waste...sorry I mean buy a G25 i'm sure you can buy S2 and gets ome good use out of it!

I wont be getting a G25 anytime soon, unless one falls out of the sky or something, I really think that I have much more usefull things to spend my money on, rather than spending this amount of money to replace something that is more than capable of the same job (DFP)

Personally I think your all nuts, Tweak has the right idea of being a tester, but buying them...illepall
Well, I was going to buy S2, but I had spent my whole paycheck for the next two months on College classes and books when I discovered LFS.

Then, a week before I got paid, I broke my Black MOMO racing wheel. Yanked the USB Cable right out of it... Then the delema came. Do I wait for the G25, or buy a replacement Momo and the G25 later, ending up with two wheels...

As time moves on, I wish more and more I had just bought a replacement MOMO rather than waiting for the G25, but the more I wish I had decided that earlier, the less and less 'worth it' it becomes as the G25 release date nears.

I've the money for S2 and G25, but because I'm such a -horrible- mouse driver, I've moved temporarly to a skinning/learning about real car setup focus while I wait. I don't need S2 for that, and if I do end up buying it online, I have to go through a whole hassle of a process to use the family credit card on it (because I don't trust Debit transactions online). I'd rather go through the hassle once for two products, than twice.

So yeah... Moral of the story... I need my G25! Grr! So... Desperate... Birthday in 1 month 4 days... Must have G25 before then so I can race in my first league on my birthday (LFS MoE-GT!)...

Back to scowering the net for local stores which will carry it on shelves soon...
I pre-ordered from NCIX for $276 CDN shipped. That's where I bought my MOMO from and NCIX has the fastest shipping ever plus I really want a clutch pedal and shifter. More realistic racing.
I'll be getting my G25 after first paycheque from NCIX, thankfully their shipping depots are local (within like 200 KM ) so the shipping time should be short, and cheap.

i went to my local best buy the other day, and they were pretty much clueless as to when they are getting the G25, if at all.

i'm sure it will be available at the local stores at one point...but i really don't think they are going to show up the day it's released. If you want it as soon as possible, then i think your best bet is to pre-order it from an online company.
Hmm, £40 less than what I'm paying. Never heard of them though. :|
Nope, but providing they can take money and put a box in the post i'm all for it!

Still 2 weeks to go yet, I think there will be a lot more retailers added to the fight by then
Hmm, I'll leave my order with Gameseek..least they reckon they're definately getting some in out of the 1st batch.

Bit suprised to see so many people have problems with dabs.com..although I've never had to return a product to them yet.
Agree, I work for HP, and they're (Dabs) very well respected here for sell our stuff.

As for the other places, guess we'll see on release day (if it's not put back again)

Try to repair the cable first ! My wheel has a repaired cable and it works !
