Well, I know about Hamachi and thats probabilly a reason why LFS only lets you use Lan ip's like 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x but yesterday I was at my campus univ, and their wireless network gives you a 193.x.x.x ip, so I wasn't able to play with a mate of mine via wireless, which kinda sucked

I don't think it's a nice approach to block certain schemes of IPs. This kinda restrictions really annoys me =\

Ask your local network admin to use a proper local address then.

The RFC states the ranges which are acceptable for a reason.

If you have XP pro (pretty sure its not in home) you can assign more than one IP to you NIC.

You need to also realise why this restriction is in place.

193.x.x.x. aren't actually reserved IPs you know

The entire 10.x.x.x is - 172.16.x.x to 172.31.x.x and the 192.168.x.x subnet. So your wireless is running on non-reserved IPs, so if they're only for internal LAN usage will end up with you not being able to access hosts that use a legit 193.x.x.x IP address.

I know someone who just sold a 1 year old Falco for £4k!

Just because its too small, am looking for around £3500 including the mods, or £3200 without.

I'd be tempted but I've got a bike and a car to sell and then the small matter of an £18000 debt to clear before I buy another. Probably looking at end of next year before I can buy and then I'll probably wait until the following spring anyway.

If I hear of anyone looking for a 600 I'll mention it.
