I would vote for this theory. What anti-virus and firewall stuff do you run? Some Norton monstrosity? Can you try turning it down and/or off for a bit? (I know, I know, be careful.)

i used mcafee but i did a system restore and now, it wont uninstall because it has compnents missing and it won't re-install for the same reason!

Well, i've looked at my specs and they are as follows

Pentium 4 2.93GHz
Radeon X300 series gfx card

an x300 is not a good graphics card :|... its hugely slow.

Read the above posts. It obviously is not the card because it work absolutley fine in single player.

As said few post earlier it could be something Internet related you have running on the backround.

I have just taken a moment to re-install the game to see if that works. fingers crossed.

I've tried re-installing it but have had no luck, it's starting to really annoy me now. Its not my specs, i've been told it can't be my connection, what else could it be?

Some other program that accesses the Internet could be causing a problem, or a faulty network card. It could even be your firewall. What do have running besides LFS when you try to connect?
