Can someone please tell me, is it possible to enable car shadows on the demo?

I've gone through all the menus (I think ) and cant find a way to enable them.

Or maybe there are none on the demo?

Are there car shadows on the licensed version?

there is no shadows of cars on demo i think.you can change resolutions of shadows of the trees and pit buildiings, but not cars it seems.is there on s2 ?

Thats false, the only difference between S2 and demo is the amount of content. In the Graphics menu, there should be a shadow quality menu, there is 3 settings, Off, Low-Res and High-Res, make sure it is set to Low or High (depending on your PC Specs)

Seems I may have a problem then, 'cos I've set shadow quality to High-Res but I still don't get any car shadows - strange.

On the Graphics menu, at the bottom do you have HVS enabled? I think that may have something to do with it possibly.

Demo and S2 are 100% the same software. Demo will always have the same physics and the same features (besides a few "minor" ones, like skin downloading, etc.). The ONLY difference is the unlocked content.

That is what I said earlier in my inital post in this thread, but obviously this person is unable to read what other people say other than the first few sentences.

Also, is "simple track" set to any other setting but off, becuase if it is on, it tells LFS to do no shadows on cars.

Aaaah!

Well, HVS was enabled BUT just below that is a 'no car shadow' option which, yes you've guessed it, was enabled! :doh:

Realized that after I made that post, and added it into a later post.

Now go buy S2 :P
