Have to agree with that. Joined in april of this year and announcing you're leaving in October is a bit much.

If you are tired of a forum, or a game, walk away. Chances are great that you'll be back to one or the other, and at least you won't look foolish for making such a dramatic statement.

I get burnt out on the forum and LFS, but just when I think I'm out....
they keep pulling me back in.

I'm always puzzled by posts like this, especially if they're by people I've never heard of (I have seen a few here and there at other forums but they're usually by long-standing members/mods/admins/etc whose priorities have changed, and whose absence would be noticed). A public announcement by a relative newb just seems like a waste of space unless you are, as others have suggested, after attention. If you're over the shenanigans here and want to use your time more productively (which I can dig, don't get me wrong ) I don't understand why a pm to a few mates saying "don't expect to see me much anymore" isn't sufficient

it's a desperate plea for attention by someone who doesn't feel like they get enough, nothing more.

Tristan, if I had a pic of him, I'd work some PhotoShoppe magic while I have it open.

I do think that he is only doing this for attention, first it was his constant bitching about getting a STCC ban, which resulted in him getting a forum ban, then its been his bitching about random stuff, now this attention plea, then more of his bitching telling the mods to close this, when him just not posting and helping us without this worthless thread would have been good enough. James, if you have such a large ego that you must post to tell us that you are leaving, that hardly helps, seeing most of us don't even notice that you are here. Now if someone who I have even an Ion of respect for (namely everyone minus you) made such a thread, I would have given a drastically different reply, but you have brought it on by making such a big deal out of your STCC ban, when you just ****ed up.

Take a chill pill dude, you are taking these things way out of proportion, and its not doing any good for your MG team.

Also @His Team Mates: I personally would be embarrassed to be part of a team with such a crybaby and attention seeker and would promptly remove him or find a bloody new team, because I know that if I run into 1 idiot in a server, I typically regard his whole fricking team as idiots unless they have proven otherwise.

Are you finished with your personal vendetta yet? It's getting quite ridiculous now.
