I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you
, but I have a question for everyone else who is trying to help.
My computer has a lot of clutter on it (and its a little old, heh), and I'm trying to set up a seperate username for LFS. I already emptied my startup folder, and I manually ctrl-alt-delete pretty much everything run by the usename I logged into (Nothing with local service, network service, or system though. I've crashed it one to many times getting end process happy). Reading this thread though, I've seen MSCONFIG mentioned a few times. So I ran it ^.^
Is there any ways to tell what is what and what it does so I know what I can disable? I figure all I'll need running is virus protection, a firewall, graphics/sound/controller drivers, and everything else can die a horrible death via removing it's little checkmarks. If someone wants to PM me saying they'll help me, I'll upload screenshots of everything running so they can help me kill it all
. But again, I'd rather a way to check what everything does so I can do it on my own time and not bother anyone else...
Thankies in advance
. And sorry if this winds up hijacking the thread, I'm hoping for at most a single responce, or just some PMs.
