There was an F1 race recently where a driver went off the track backwards and ended up going into the barrier, causing damage to his car. I said to my Dad, "I would have lifted off the brakes there and steered to the right to avoid the wall". Then it hit me... a lot of us must actually know better what to do in certain 'emergency situations' (ie. when you've screwed up :P) than a lot of professional racers, just because we've spent so much time off the track and/or going backwards
Anything else you can think of that us LFS'ers have more experience with than the pros?
