It is basically like myspace, except not emo. You just use it to make a profile, and then you can link forums to it. There is some sort of vbuliten mod to do this.

It's a suggestion for the forum, to be able to link your forum profile to your zoints one. If you read my post completely you would know that.

edit: I wouldn't call myspace emo either tbh, that gives it way too much credit.

Social networking website are shite, unless they're profession/career orientated.

If I want to find a VC guy for a project, a social networking website would allow me to see the chain much more easily than a huge pile of emails. Having a pointless profile where *everyone* adds you as their friend and you never ever talk to them (effectively its a friend-count contest) defeats the point of the thing imho.

In short, after that rant, I've not got a problem with icons to other places, as long as they're not intrusive.
