Don't worry mate, there are 18 other cars on the track, and if we're lucky one will get Alonso. It doesn't have to be Massa
Who says Massa has to do it. Which team has Ferrari engines next year, again? =)
Although my bet would be Fisichella.
and if i would be Schumacher i would crash Massa for ruin my very last race with such special conditions. :slap:

Seriously, i think that will not happen because it would be just to obviously.

Looking foward for some classic action, hard but fair

yeah ,

Renault are not going out to win , not at all , this is one race that the mission objective is simply to finish in the top 8 , that will be like a win to them. Despite what others say , despite what others think , that is the aim.

Just the top , and , I would really hope/think they can do it , but would also like to see some special midfield and backmarker results as well , maybe Toyota can repeat Japan and do quite well on the Qualy and finish in points on the race , and of course Honda , Red Bull , all the usual ones I would like to see have a well rounded-out season , most deserve it

tell you what wouldnt be a funny result: if Takuma Sato wins it. Oh I would cry and cry.

lolol imagine that people ?
hmm after looking at the point system, what happens if Alonso cant finish or get into the points + Schumacher will win the race? Both would have 126 Points?

Something like "the right of the last championship winner" from the previous championship?
MSC has more wins this season, so he'd win.
oOh...yeah  thanks mate
I'm really surprised if Massa does something towards Alonso. Wouldn't it be just SO obvious trick.
@deggis
They won't sink so deep, at least i hope. It'll be hell of a fight so lets just sit tight and wait till they hit the finish line |o.- |
totally agreed, btw i think we allready had that subject earlier in this thread and yes it would be the most stupid thing ferrari (or any other Constructors/ Drivers) could do. (on purpose)

Stop making Presumptions and enjoy the Event =)
Man.... if F1 was like wrestling, the drivers would be hired to 'act' and make Schumacher win, and Alonso purposely retire I am dying to have some kind of controversy for this last race, I don't know why, but this season ender can only be interesting if Alonso DNFs. And if Schumacher can only get 2nd place, lol this would be just a crazy ending. But what if 1st place lets him win, haahahh.

/me prays for something like this
Part of me would love to see the look on Alonso's face if schumacher won the championship. I imagine it would look a bit like Haydens after Pedrosa took him out in the motogp...probably with a wierd pose of some sort.

Although the look of extreme smugness on Schumachers would probably put me into an anger induced coma...but at least we will have the famous quote 'i do not want to win the championship through someone elses retirement'
Shumi has a brand new engine tho, is this alonso's second race on the engine or does he have a fresh power plant?
Alonso was originally supposed to get a fresh engine this race, but didn't he have a blow up two races ago? So it'll be a tired engine.

I wouldn't be suprised if Ferrari have ordered Massa into a Renault coloured sand trap, but I don't want to go as far as pre judging them.

In any case if Schumacher is looking good for a win i'll be on the edge of my seat the whole race praying for Renault reliability.

Schumacher deserves this championship about as much as I deserve my current job.

Maybe Ferrari can borrow Daniel Pedrosa for a race.

Has anyone noticed that situation is exactly the same as Suzuka '96? If Villeneuve would have won Hill would have needed exactly one point to take the title. In the race Hill disappered into the distance and Villeneuve retired. Good times.

Lets hope Alonso does the same.

Don't like Schumacher, and I don't get the impression any of the other F1 drivers do either.

Do I think Ferrari will have tried some avenues to effect a result? You bet I do. Have they secured anything? Find out Sunday.

I want Alonso to win, although I'm not blind to the fact that Renault, today, is the Benetton, just a few years back, that got caught cheating more than just one time in a single season.. removing fuel line filters to increase the speed of refuelling and stuff like that. I can't quite remember who their driver was back then.. oh.. wait.. it was Schumacher, wasn't it!

Well, well, well...
Alonso has a new engine this race if memory serves me correctly. His was on it's 2nd run last time out after people were so worried his would blow up after his push right till the end of the Chinise GP.
The Renault engineers are giving Alonso a 'bullet proof' engine for Brazil, it will be good enough to get him into the top 8...i seriously doubt Alonso will win the race.

I would laugh if Montoya came out on the track in his Nascar and still win!!!! , hes invincible in brazil :P.
I just hope for Renault they aren't playing it too safe. I mean, I wouldn't mind MS winning it, but just running for one point is a lot of the time much harder than going out and win it. You tell yourself "ah, I just need one point" and that's when errors slip in and you lose your concentration.
Only one race left, then Formula 1 will finally be got rid of Schumacher M.

a quality driver, no doubt about his talent, but MS is the Dick Dastardly of F1.
