I like the google earth shots idea and the one about an object each of us holds dear (without descending into rude bits...)
I would also like to suggest one of those magnified pics you used to get at parties where you had to guess what the object was; -you know, big close up of a tea strainer, or the hairs on a fly's proboscis,etc. etc,.
