LFS/Realword F1 vid.
Hi all ,

first vid , and I already know it has too too too much real-world footage to be considered any decent LFS vid , but I was just trying it out.

The real-world footage is from a similar vid on youtube , a review of the 2005 F1 season , and the LFS F1 footage is from the SiMFIA F1 Season 1 that just finished a short time ago , and I think may be moving to rFactor so it may or may not continue for a second season.

Next vid will be about something different , if I get round to making another.

Thanks for viewing , you can be honest i dont really mind if its criticism ( sp? )

lol - you can tell, what's wrong with Fraps?

i can get more freely moving camera angles and movement if using my camera , i know it takes out quality but the zoom and such adds realism IMO.

Even if wasnt the first one, i enjoyed the idea, the soundtrack as well.

Cool video IMO

ps: the camera-on-screen recording did added realism feeling imho that i could not get for my videos while using fraps...

EDIT : I knew I had already done it in one of my two vids ... m8 the website info is in the description bit at the end of the info sentance , i provide links to LFS and SimFIA , it was already there , you just need to click " more " on the info bit where i provide a text heading / intro for my vid ( which I know not many people will bother to click , but , hey i put it up there so not much else i can do ).

EDIT EDIT : OMG your drifting , car interiors and graphics are INSANE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH !!!!!!!

:hihi: hehe

its not big deal...my first video wasnt nowhere near as good as your's (i started about 1 year and a half ago),theres no secret or tutorials to make a good video, just keep making videos and you will improve naturaly (and it comes faster than you could think off) and then it gets easyer and faster...

ps: the most important thing to video makers imho, is the feedback of the viewers, pay atention at each word they say...that will teach you.
You allready started pretty good
yeah thanks for tips

I quite enjoyed it, but don't tell them up there ^ because they'll take the mickey out of me

i really like it nice work. where did u get all those rl replays?
All the real-world movies and such came from the 2005 Season of F1 , there is another youtube video out there somewhere that is called " 2005 F1 Season Review " ( or something very similar ) , that contains all real-world clips shown in my video plus more , its to the same soundtrack as well , so I simply edited it to go really well with the LFS F1 stuff , and placed the soundtrack correctly.

Anyway , all those real-world clips where from that other video thats on youtube , and I would imagine that author of the vid got the footage from perhaps somewhere online or even recorded it off 2005 t.v repeats or something , not really sure , but its good footage.

Cool movie. For me it was too much irl clips, but the movie was nice anyway. Good for being your first movie you've made.

Good work
yeah i knew as soon as I watched the final version as well , it seemed too much real-world footage but I left it because I carried the music and those real-world clips from another youtube video , and the music suited certain scenes of the video really really well , and so i didnt want to / couldnt change them.

But thanks , next one if i make one will have loads of LFS.

I saw the original quite a while bad. This ain't a bad adaptation, but it lacked LFS footage IMO. For a LFS preview, most was real-life
yeah man sorry bout that , will indeed be changing that for any future vids though.

Did anyone notice one or two of the sounds from the real-world vid that I managed to link in sync with LFS footage ?
