No hi-res version... why would you wanna download that because you can get the replay from LFSWorld and watch it yourself. Mostly this is for people who haven't heard about LFS... or people who haven't tried CSR yet.

Now with the good sounds it looks so damn real... I especially love how the wheel shakes on tight turns or when going over curbs, of course the best part is that instead being some kind of effect it's real steering input.

Excellent example of a brilliant add-on!

Only one thing that's really bugging me, and that's the tone of the engine on lift-off. It sounds like a lower gear (higher pitch) to me. Am I wrong? Argh!

Same thing bugged me too, it sounds like the sample would be made recording a passing car on the track. Doesn't sound so violent what the car should sound when downshifting, but overall guite impressive for a add-on, should give it a go again.

I know they are samples but sounding like that and from that angle that video looks and sounds amazing!!!

I think lot of people who already bashed CSR (don't know did you ) in the general discussion sound thread after trying FZR for 2 minutes, will going to change their minds... especially when we get some really tuned up sound packs. CSR has much more potential than the few included sounds, e.g. FZR sounds kinda bad and I've been working on much better sounds for it. It's hard to get the CSR sounds to match the LFS car sound pitch but when you get it right results are amazing.

Though this BF1 sound in the video is completely default from the newest release (0.31 alpha). I've thought too that when you lift off throttle at high speed the sound is a bit wrong. That sound (LFS\CSR\User Files\BF1\BF1_off_high.avi) It is played when you lift off throttle until revs drop below 14000-12000.. just watched a real onboard vid with telemetry and seems like it actually start so sound when revs drop below 14000-15000. It could be easily fixed in 5 mins with the CSR editor. But doesn't that sound come from TC kicking in? CSR has also a separate TC sound but that isn't very loud.
