I have... flour, milk... rice? aaaand some chicken breasts.
plus: butter, ground regato cheese, tomatos calabrese.
olive oil.
(salt, sugar, peppers, curry)
some eggs, from 16/10, in the fridge. willing to risk.
To test eggs to see if they are off, place them in a bowl of water, floaters are off, sinkers are still good.
If you have some bread (and if you have it french bread is best), make a pizza, mabye fried egg bread as the base if you want to use them, which right now is sounding good to me <3
Maybe a curry sauce with the curry, milk and flower (don't know how that would turn out), boil the rice, mix it with an omelet (a regular one), might sweeten it with the sugar, should taste good. And with all that the chicken.
That's what we call a home made chinese meal, but I'm not sure on how to prepare it, whip something up and keep us updated
How much rice? Do you have a steamer?
I'm not sure what tomatos calabrese is, tomatoes mixed with baking soda to get rid of the acidic content
is what I got googling it.
The chicken
Take the chicken breasts, get a little olive oil and some of the currey (red currey or yellow?) mix it up real good in a bowl. Now dip your breasts into it... NO, your CHICKEN breasts. if possible put the chicken in a bowl or a baking pan or better yet, a ziplock freezer bag. and pour the olive oil curry mix in with it, making enough mix to get all over all the chicken. A freezer bag works best because you can get by with less mixture(marinade) and you can seal out all the air and the flavor of the marinade gets in the chicken better that way. OK put that back in the fridge and let it sit from any where from 4 to 24 hrs
Now depending on what types of breasts you have, Whole with bones, boneless skinless or little pieces like chicken Mcnugget sized, they are called Chicken Tenders in the USA
If you have a BBQ pit or some sort of grill, you can cook them on that
on a medium type heat for about an hour, flipping over after about 40 minutes
If you have a great big BBQ pit, it could take longer. a grill will be alot faster, but you have to keep an eye on it flipping the chicken around a bit
to make sure it all gets cooked evenly maybe 15-20 minutes cooking time.
The rice is simple, if you have a steamer. mix 1.5 units(cups) of rice to 2 units of water in a serving dish that is oven safe. add in about a drop or two of olive oil and a pinch of salt. this part is important: only stir it together a little bit, with a fork. stick it in the steamer. stir it again a little with the fork about 15 mins after its been in the steamer when all the water has evaporated from the rice, throw some butter on it, maybe some of the romano cheese too, fluff it up with a fork and it's ready.
Do really need to know how to cook eggs?
Scramble them with the romano cheese and peppers.
As far as the tomatos calabrese goes... If it's like a sauce I guess you can heat it up and put some on the chicken.
If you have any more left, you can fry some chicken.
First, wash the chicken :P
Second, coat it in flour
Third, coat in egg
Repeat second and third steps until you think it looks like a breading of some sort.
Fourth, fry it!
