Seen what looked like the TIGER TAIL ESSO fuels used to give away hanging from a guys FZR Antenna today, It also had the winage effect when the car was moving, If anyone can tell where to mod that in the FZR skin i'd be most grateful.
Well I'm not the only one who seen it so...I swear to god......the guy had what looked like a ribbion or something on his aerial on the FZR......and yes it moved just as a real one would with the car moving.
I'm wondering if we had the pleasure of having one of the DEVS by our server..makes sense it would be an unreleased interieor file such as the one for XR_GT TURBO in S1.....was able to change tail lights, headliners and such.
Problem is....he didn't finish the race so I have no record of his LFS name. I'll see if HALLEN has it recorded on the server..best MOD i've seen yet.
Thanks for your time tweak..and Hi tristan.....keep them posts coming bud...yah always make me laugh.
Lost, i dont blame anyone. The antenna cannot be freely skinned but it does have something in a dds i think which u can use to change it. I dont think it can be modded either, sober up!
Next someone will claim that Mr Christmas is 'made-up' too... This is why forums will never work - people make silly claims like that, or that trees DO make sounds when they fall even if no-one is there to hear them.
Ok got it figured out..it is not a mod.....it's a simple silly trick that can give the appearence of having a ball on the antenna of the FZR.
The guy used ASCII code 0183 as his player name....it centers a small dot right above the tip of the antenna on the FZR.....and when approaching the car from the rear (with NAMES ABOVE CARS ON) it does give the effect of a ball on the antenna. Because the names above cars shifts around while the car is moving, it also appears that the antenna bends. I'm sure anyone would notice it for what it was if you followed the guy for a lap....but heck I was just blowing by him every so often as I lapped him.
It's so uncanny how that green dot looks just like one of those esso tiger tails trailing from the top of the antenna, isn't it? Bobbing up and down in the wind.....LOL. Move on guys. Nothing here to see.
