I miss Senna and Hakkinen....

I accturally belive that if Senna where alive today and where racing, MS and Senna would have been competing so hard against each other that F1 would grow boring... Senna was a true legend. I saw the race a few days ago and I also saw a video regarding the cause of the Senna death-crash...
Hard photage....

I have a video where they show the MS driving skills..

Quote from spankmeyer :43 laps to go and your multi-million dollar cardboard engine is spitting bolts, smoke and oil around for the nth time this season and there's nothing you can do about it - you think you wouldn't be pissed off?

It's called professionalism and logic. A damaged engines yields much more information than a completely destroyed one. This allows the engine guys to analyze the failure and possibly prevent the same problem from repeating itself.

There are impulsive kids who simply give in to their impulses. Then there are true professionals and champions that stay calm under pressure. It's what separates the champions from the rest of the field.

And yes, F-1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsports, so the harder the top guys compete, the better. When was the last time mediocre drivers and mediocre competition actually led to excellent racing?

BTW, Kimi has the skill and speed, and could potentially become the next Mika Hakinen if he gains more experience and tries to work with the Ferrari team as well as MS did.

It's called GP2 and BTCC (though I don't rate the racing as particularly good in either).

And Kimi only kept his foot in once. I think you'll find all the greats have moments of frustration, so saying Kimi is a kid because he always lunches his engines is factually wrong.
If driving race cars like bumper cars = good racing, then mediocrity = good racing.

Otherwise, there's no substitute for high levels of competence.

My memories of great F1 drivers:

Juan Manuel Fangio
Jim Clark
Niki Lauda
Gilles Villeneuve
Didier Pironi
Alain Prost
Ayrton Senna
Nigel Mansell
Mika Häkkinen

And nope, Michael S. is not in this list.
He has the most wins, the most champion titles, but he's just an as***le and always been, which doesn't make him a great driver.

I guess and hope that Kimi Räikkönen will be the next one to be added to my list
And maybe, later, Fernando Alonso.
don't let your personal feelings against him misjudge the driving skills, schumi is cold and very reserved has senna was...they only lived to race and win, nothing else mattered.
And Senna wasn't allwais a fair and clean driver.
