pocketbike problem
hi i just traded a pocketbike with a friend, but it needed work.its working but the elektric swith to turn the engine off doesnt work... now i ask, how do i need to connect the cables??
its a switch with a black and red cable and going to the engine, i tryed to fix but didnt work... what should i do? i read that 1 cable had to go to the engine and the other 1 to the chassis?

If you stick wire coming from engine to chassis then engine stops, switch is there to do it pretty way, so from switch one wire goes to chassis and switch connects this wire to other that comes from engine.

It was this way with my -75 Solifer and it seem to be similar way in modern things
uhh---ohhh, time for an equation..........

Kiss me + motorized bicycle = big trouble for those all around..........

Dan,
ill try when my dad is home, lol i don't trust myself lol lol lol
thanks for the advice,
another question,
i got a tube goingfrom the engine to nowhere when i turn the thingy to let gas go to the engine some oil drops out of there is this a problem or natural?

When the engine is running, touch the wire coming from the engine directly to the chassis...does the engine stop?
i dunno, my dad isnt home yet ill try when my dad or bro is home

lol! so why did you start this threadillepall
You'll never learn if you don't mess around(But as a beginner that usually means a lot of broken/burnt/exploded stuff)
I suppose you'd better wait for help
yep, just to be sure...u never know what can happen with stuff that i own
ok to stop the engine with the elektric thing doesnt work, so i do this(not good solution)
i turn of the choke?? and stop the oil from going to engine(with a switch)
then i give enough gas and it turns off
Turning off the fuel will always help.. just wait for the engine to go empty of fuel....

If you are really stuck for a solution and tour Dad & Bro can't help, you could wire the switch between the positive on the battery and the rest of the loom, "breaking" the circuit while the engine is running will stop the engine.
myeah, dan, thanks for ur trust
i drove it this morning, dumb me didnt put the switch for fuel to the engine completely open so after 10m the engine stopped but now its raining..
ill w8 till i get an exhaust cuz my ears still hurt
Put your hand on the back of the exhaust or your foot (might be a bit hot for the hand) will conk out

I had this problem with my old CR250, the kill switch wire was rubbing and it cut through, and normaly it would conk out anyway! But i set that carb so it wouldnt for racing if i crashed or anything and needed to get going again!

So just block the exhaust for a moment
blocking the exhaust wont work... i tryed but wont work....

Quote from kiss me :blocking the exhaust wont work... i tryed but wont work....

why don't people listen when one offers info, dont be stupid blocking the exhaust is both unpractical and very bloody dangerous.
As I said wire a switch between the battery and the rest of the loom,
this is a safe way to do it.

i do listen to ur wise advice!!!
i did it the first time it startedand didnt knew what to do!!!
but i need some more gas before i can try it with the electric stopper...
