This is a dumb question but in my skins_x folder in LFS i have loads of great looking skins. How do i get those on to the game i have tried dragging them into the skins folder but it doesn't work. I hope this makes sense.

copy them into to skins press copy then paste hope it works

but.......!
alot of these skins are / will be private skins.
what means u might need permission fist before u use "his" skin.
the better way is, go to skins forum and collect public skins, trust me theres alot good stuff there.

This is virtually impossible to police. My view is that if you are prepared to race your skins online then they become PD and you should be happy that others think your work is good and want to use your skin.
Where I draw the line is people taking someone elses work, eiting a bit of it then promoting it as their own work. This to me is unacceptable and will be squashed.

yes i totally agree there i ws in this server a drift one drifting through gears and i was talking to the fella who made a skin donkerstreet to be extact and he said i could you use it aslong as i didnt edit it and change it or say it was mine so anyway i was using it and then some fella called MANTA banned me for using it ???? even though i got permission

Nice attempt to name and shame a person, especially who has _no_ admin rights there. In this case he could _not_ ban you.

well i was of yer team and he said i was getting a 30 day ban and i know 3 more people who got the same penalty
