well, borat is making fun of "us". the things we put up with. the things we tolerate and the things we dont. and the "wrongness" of it under certain circumstances.

It's good and healthy to laugh at stereotypes- the problem is when people start taking these things too seriously. When that happens the results are usually not very funny at all...

It doesn't matter when it was founded it gives a completely one sided view on the current shambles, it makes out that Hezbollah missiles were killing large numbers of Israelis, but fails to point out (at least on first glance) that they have been responsable for killing a lot more Lebanese. This is getting very OT lets drop the subject.

Me and my mates just got kicked out the cinema. We are 13, and ordered tickets to open season. Then, we just walked into the borat movie screen, but got caught. D'OH! I really wanna see borat!

What proof do you have that the israeli army killed more Civilians then Hezbollah? How can you be comparing a terrorist organization to an actual country? Hezbollah was aiming for civilians. The Israeli army was not. Before the Israeli army bombed Hezbollah buildings and areas where there were rockets being fired from, they dropped flyers telling civilians to immidately leave the area if they see Hezbollah militants.

I saw this movie yesterday, and it was pretty damn funny. A LOT of parts were rather shocking in terms of humour, but also shocking in terms of disgust.

I know that Sascha is Jewish, and that he purposely makes jokes about Jews in his films to get a laugh out of people who think such jokes are funny -- so the joke is on them.... but there were quite a few of these "anti-semitic" inside jokes used in the movie, almost to a point where you kind of wish that was NOT in the movie at all... because everything else was pretty funny. But there were references to animal cruelty and sexist remarks... There's a lot to the movie, but I was entertained.

As for the ADL, uh they're really more like a civil rights organization. not really
into global politics or whatever. In fact, you should read what they think of the JDL, which IS.

Ok this movie, I seen the commercials for it on TV, kinda reminds me of something Mel Brooks (another Jewish guy) would do. I guess the movie was shot too soon to do something with Mel Gibson (not a Jewish Guy).

It don't look like something I'd plunk down money for at the Box Office, but maybe rent at the video store.
