Though nowhere near my personal record but nevertheless - sucks to be me at the moment.

If my productivity was a town, it would be Hiroshima after the A-bomb.

Sooooo anywhoo, how's your work and studies been lately? Year 2006 is nearly wrapped up and guess students in Finland might have troublesome times ahead once again. Tell me how you cope with inevitable long days fueled with coffee and quick jerking-the-gerking energy boosts in office bathroom at late night.

Think I'll do a tactical retreat and catch some :sleep2: and try to finish rest of the work in the morning. Discuss, soldiers! I'll check this first thing in the morning and there better be some replies! :irked:
If my productivity was a town it would be one of those dusty little Aussie country towns with one pub where everything shuts at 6pm. Adelaide, maybe

It's been a very slow three months. I'm actually thinking about chucking a sickie just to avoid sitting around all day doing nothing...

Crazy, and its only due to get worse as the end of the year comes about. Lots of time on-site scheduled, new customers, existing ones moving, etc. Lets not mention that Christmas is coming and I've not done any shopping yet Ho Hum, oh and I've still got mountains of personal projects to finish off.

Lots of tea or coffee and/or energy drinks, and one or two Pro Plus used to get me through the heavy nights. Since I'm now trying to be on a health kick I'm cutting down. To be honest, I don't think its as hard as it used to be.. practise makes perfect and all that.

:o Does that mean what I think it does?
Well, on Sunday night I couldn't sleep, and got about 1.5 hours sleep. And last night I was enjoying the company of a pretty young thing (from a sort of counselling point of view), so have only had an hours rushed sleep. So, ignoring two powernaps, I've been awake for 47 hours. Including the naps, it's still about 44 hours.

I'm shattered, but fortunately God invented Lucozade, tea, coffee etc.

Edit: And I have an LXCC race this evening too, which is going to be interesting. The back straight is quite long, so maybe I can catch some Zzzzzs whilst I'm on it.
nevermind...
I have been busy doing pretty much nothing. Not that I have been lazy, I just have't really felt like doing anything. I have probably gained some weight if that counts, just ate some pizza. Was yammy!

But I have earned it. I used to do some double shifts on summer without really sleeping in the middle. As long as you keep moving you're alright. Just don't do any math

Yeah, and wan**** a lot.
Ah, to be young! When I was in my early 20's, I worked nightturn. I would come home and grab an hour of sleep, then have all day to do what I wanted. Then I'd grab an hour of sleep before heading back to work all night.

Now, I work steady daylight, and I'm ready to head home for a nap at noon, LOL.
I had to do a server restore this time last year and I worked from lunchtime on Saturday until about 3 in the afternoon on Monday without a break or any sleep. It made me ill (started to go slightly mental) and the doctor told me to take two weeks off afterwards

Don't over do it mate.

Adelaide! your doing well m8, for me its more like Katherine or maybe Halls Creeek or more likely Fitzroy Crossing
I had a stretch of about 48 hours last week.

To cope with long nights.. well.. I have a stunning co-worker who is my age. Me and her went out to a movie last night too... Work isn't exactly what is on my mind when I'm at work. lol
