I wonder if any countries would allow that to be shown on TV? In the UK adverts like that are considered to "promote speed" and as such are banned.

If they put "professional driver on a closed course, do not attempt" they normally get away with it. Hence all the motorbike ads on Eurosport.

They show motor racing don't they? That's a racing driver on a race track, not even a closed road, I don't see how it's any difference

I remember when Nissan won the BTCC in the 90s, they weren't allowed to show footage of the cars on track in their adverts because it promoted speed. You are right about the motorcycle adverts, but you never see them ridden as hard that Porsche is being driven, and you never see any racing in them at all (despite that surely being the best way to advertise a sports bike), I think it's simply not allowed.

Suprisingly good ad. Maybe they could show it on the telly after 10pm when you see all the other "sexy" adverts?

im pretty sure theres no such legislation in germany
wont make it on tv anyway though its just too long

lol, yeah Porsche must have copied LFS's FZ5/R, which bears no resemblance to any other car at all

Not to mention the physics displayed in that movie are rather off, LFS is definetely more realistic-looking than that.

Yea and i love many sports cars. I have always like rear of porches more than front. Cayman S rear, i like it and i have it in NFSC with chrome paint, So id love to get any porsche, actually i dont want boxter, but all other (GT3, 911 turbo etc.)

I read/heard somewhere you can't get GT3RS with any other than white color (with red stripes). I guess it has changed...

Anyway, damn nice car. I've always loved how Porsches look (except maybe 914).
