I'd like to make a video of some LFS racing and have the Fraps demo installed to capture.

But since it only supports short clips I need some software to combine them and it'd also be good if I could add some post production stuff - basic stuff like text and fades.

Are there any good free software programs around that can do this?

I had a loan of Adobe Premiere a while back, but didn't have much time to play with it. I guess if there's no free ones I could ask for that again.

Windows Movie Maker is part of XP. Also there is a tool called Virtual Dub which is free - http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net but Movie Maker is better

I totally forgot about WMM. I guess I can give that a shot since it'll be on my XP disc. Failing that I'll have a look at VirtualDub.
