Grönholms' co-driver in severe butt pain during rally
Search terms 'grönholm ass pain' gave no results so...

The Youtube vid cuts short (though late enough to get recap after SS from Grönholm...), but I recall the violating object in question wasn't a rock, but a small metal pole from a warning flag used during recce. They later showed video of the pierced car bottom and punctured bucket seat.

I saw it from a WRC show on tele about, dunno... maybe year or two back, I'd guess? Anyone can confirm when this happened? What rally was that by the way?

I dont know when it was, but ive seen it around on other forums a few months back. Still funny though. I like the hand movement description lol.

I remember Grönholm's co-driver had a softer seat or something in Finland (I think) due to the big jumps, that is maybe what you are thinking of.

Those Rautianen's pains are actually two different incidents. The first one is when some kind of pole penetrated the Rautiainen's seat and... . The latter is from Jyväskylä Neste rally 2005 (?) when the Grönholm's car made a big jump and Rautiainen hurt his back when the car landed hard...

I have to agree, Grönholm's explanation of the incident is a bit funny

the close call is also pretty funny... everyone has had that look on their face at some point.
