ok this is gonna make me seem really dumb and like a newbie, but i cant seem to find where i upgrade from demo to s2, i had to format this computer n lost every thing, now i cant remember nothing. plz help

At the first screen down the left hand corner where it says unlock s2!!!

NO you have 2 passwords, your game pass and your webpass. You click on the button on the bottom left of the welcome screen says S2 Licence or it might say Demo Licence and it will take you to another screen where you enter your username and game password that you have set up in your account.

not a new demo racer, been on this ages but dont need to enter my username and password all the time, now ive had to format the computer i cant remember or fid the unlock button.

Ok but this is the wierd thing, on the main screen there is no unlock button at all, i downloaded wot sed was the latest full download. i think the unlock button is normaly under ur profile name on the left of the main screen. Thi is really annoying now. Its almost like the button is missing and cant upgrade from demo to s2

simple solution - you downloaded the demo (no data for other tracks than blackwood, etc.) - download the full version

Yes, this seems to occur from time to time. Just backup your old LFS install somewhere and make a complete new installation. Afaik, that is most likely going to fix it.

Indeed. There hasn't been a demo-only version for some time.

There are supposedly mirrors with bad uploads, which don't have unlock buttons though.

I got the download from one mirror in the UK, that was the frist, which didnt have the unlock button, then i downloaded it again from the top mirror. and that works fine.

I had the same problem. Just redownload from a different mirror.
