Assuming the post rate is linear (as such we ignore any external influences, such as celebrations or weekends racing a reynard, and this thread), I'll go for roughly 33 days from this point. Which makes it roughly 15th. Assuming cock ups and what not, I'm all for 16th.

One thing vBulletin doesn't show you is the average post rate over the past week, that would allow for a much better mathematical comparison, as well as making it easier for mods to spot possible spammers.

You also have to take into account that the post rate is calculated from the date you got your S2 license... BUT the forums exist only since 10th Aug 2005, so everybody who has a join date before that, has in fact a false posts per day stat.

A weekly or monthly rate would indeed be much better suited for mathematical predictions.

I was under the impression that the stats were "fixed" to resolve that... Agreed adjustable rates would be better though

Well, if you think about it, it's clear that the stats aren't fixed - normally tristan should have a higher posts per day average than Jakg, as he has more posts overall and both "joined" before Aug 10th 2005, so they had the same amount of days to reach that post count.

Nope. The only "fix" that happened was that the forum join dates were scrapped and your LFS join date used instead. This screwed up the posts per days for all the original members, and a lot of the new (forum) members too. Each users forum is not even saved anywhere, so we can't get accurate post-per-day counts. But like I said, some people join, don't post for 6 months, then start posting, so they mean little anyway.
