anyone?
Give it some time a full set of 19 skins is alot of work and takes a fiar bit of time to do.
o belive me i know.

but i said to post if you were gonna try it and nobody posted.....
I can do them but they're not free..
If you're ready to pay for my work feel free to drop me a pm and we can discuss the details.
Maybe nobody posted because it's to much work.
I would probably spend more then 200 hours to make 20 good loking skins.

Have you tried to make a skin?
Do you know how much work it is to make lines, decals and so on the go from the side to the hood or roof look good?
Do you know how much work it is to think about a design that looks good an all cars?
Do you know how much work it is to scale every decal on the skin right so that it doesn't look stretched in the game?

Ok let's say 5 hours a skin and i would want at least $7.5 per hours.
20*5*7.5 = $750

You really should think about how much work a whole skin pack is.
well im sure more than 19 requests have been filled by someone here.....

its just the same, just all at once.
And exactly that's to problem to make one skin can be a lot fun to make then same skin (design) again and again can be a real pain.
Ohh and we really have only 19 counted the UF1 two times in the viewer.
Good luck, its a real lot of work. 10 hours for a good quality skin is reasonable.
I don't suppose you want 19 skins made on MS paint in 5 minutes, do you?
ite guys me and my members have been tossing this around and we have decided we will give you all t he time you want, but we want to prioritize.

The cars we need are:

1.XRT
2.FZR
3.RB4
4.FO8
5.FXO
10 hours would be ... for me, it would have been actually working those 10 hours straight to finish it, good skins (when i was a skinner...) took me several days at best until i was at where i wanted to be

team skins are even harder usually than just messing around type skins; for me atleast
bump
Guys, give this cat a break. Maybe he doesn't know how to skin, maybe he doesn't have any graphics packages (yes, I know GIMP is free), or maybe he has a hard time using them.

I'll give it a go, Falcon. Just be patient with me.
THANK YOU banshee

and apparently im a cat now.....

anyways

yes i have photoshop cs2, but i cant skin.

i can make good sigs and stuff along those lines, but a skinner im not.
by no means am i criticising you (before some says anything) but if you have a knowlegde of photoshop and layers etc then skinning is easier for you than most. Most people come to skinning with no knowledge of photoshop, gimp . . . . . etc. and have to learn the program before skinning. I like you could use photoshop before i found LFS and got into skinning. Now to my point - If you have the time and patience to skin and make sure everything lines up thenyou can make a skin. Even if it is basic it will be your skin and as time progresses you get an idea of what shapes fit on what cars and you can make more complicated skins. This process goes on and you will produce good looking skins.
It really is just patience to line things up and practice at making good designs
if there was a way where you could skin without the car cut into 2d

it would be easier...

if you could skin in something like lfs viewer you know....

i skin a little

but just basic stuff with sponsers ONLY on the hood because i have heard horror stories of sponser strectching an what not...

i cant skin what i want on these team ones...

its just no possible for me.

Horror stories? It isnt a problem as long as you know they will stretch.. Example take 'Sparco' the 'o' at the end is round but stretches to an oval, so i just free transform (ctrl+T) and shrink the whole logo down and look in cmx viewer then resize again if neccessary untill the logo is thr right shape in cmx viewer.
i see ill try to make a skin later today
First concept sent to you by PM.

An easier work round is resizing the file while editing IIRC LFS viewer will correctly display non-square skins as well so there's no need to resize everytime you need to check something.

Except that 3D textures need to be a power of 2 for your video card to display them correctly, so if you are going for clarity or accuracy of fine detail it is best to use a conventional size (or maintain a power of 2 ratio).
XRT & FZR skins done. Working on next one now.
