Whitford, be careful when you are dealing with people who are doing something you pay for. For a single skin, you shouldn't pay 50. It is way too much.

Just ask nicely, provide some pictures and more exact info about what kind of skin you want. Chances are that there is someone willing to do it, but not always.

If you decide to pay for the skin, you better look first around the skins section. Just to see what kind of skins the people, who are offering to do it, have done in the past.

Skinning isn't too hard, just patience and some ideas and you're set

yes if it is a skin cut copied and pasted and used bunnies from google search and so on..
but it's not too much for a special one completely used original items and design.

Edit : don't think i'm after that money i just wanted to say, somethings might be more valuable if some skills in it.

Why would you need a camera to skin a car? Are you planning on taking your own Playboy pictures for it?

All you need is a graphic editing program and a browser to get the logos and images.

It's Photoshop I use. The free alternative is GIMP that a lot of people like, but I've never tried it.

I normally just use Google Images to find logos, but a lot of people also swear by Brands of the World for high quality pics.

Also, the Master Skinnerz kits are very useful for lining up logos and colours. Just make sure you either delete or hide the wireframe layer before you save

If you use the Master Skinnerz kit you get a 2048*2048 version.

But you can always just use the XRT_DEFAULT.jpg in your \skins\ folder.
