Autosave not autosaving?
I have replay autosave enabled, and I just ran a few lapping sessions back to back, making changes in between. (Run, go to pits, run, go to pits, etc. etc.). Now, when I go to view the replays, I just have a single 'temp' spr of the last run I did.

Is this the way it's supposed to work? Do I still have to tell LFS to save the replay before I go to the pits?
In single player, replays are not saved if you pit by Shift+S.

So if you want to keep what you've done so far, yes you will need to manually save.

The alternative is to start your own private server and run some solo laps on that - you can pit as many times as you like in multiplayer and the replay will still be saved when you end the race.
Of course you will then want to fast forward a lot if you spend a long time in the pits
Thanks Dajmin.

I've been pitting by hitting Esc, then clicking 'Pits'. Same thing, I'm guessing.

I'll try it. Can I run the server on my gaming box? If not, I have a colo'd linux box I can set up...just have to figure out the whole Wine thing...

I didn't think that was possible...please don't tell me I've unneedingly sat through 15 laps just to watch my one good one...
You can set a speed to the replay pressing F3 for more speed and F2 for lower speed

You should be able to - just go to "Multiplayer" and "Start New Game". In the ensueing menu, set the game to "local" and give the game a name. That's all you need to change, though there's lots of other options in the menu.
Dang it! I must have sat through an hour of replays last night just to get *.raf files of like 3 laps...oh, well...

But, now I'll know for next time! Thanks, Blas89!

Sweet. Thanks. I've run multiplayer online, but not on my local box. I'll try it out tonight...

Thanks for all the help, guys!

Np man
Ok...I think I have a handle on the whole autosave thing...

Autosave works on multi/single player race events, not practice or hot lapping. I ran a couple events with it on, and a couple with it off, and it seemed to be working right.

I had to hit '1' or '2' to save the practice and hotlap replays (which is what I was doing before...I just somehow forgot overnight).

Thanks again for the help!
