EDIT - The BETA of CS3, yes. It wouldn't suprise me if this didnt work when CS3 went retail, though

The thing is, they don't care about the people that can't afford the software. Only about the companies. People who know PS -> more sales vs. People who know Gimp -> Less sales. More people that know PS than Gimp in a company -> more sales. Simple, my dear Blackout.

I thought it was free for Mac users.... That's what I heard at least. And it might even come bundled with some premium Macs you can buy.

I have Corel Photo shop XI with a lost serial

Didn't even bother to download as my gut says CS3 will be a fat, slow and unreliable piece of bloatware with a 1500 euro pricetag on it.

And professional have no choice but to bitch, whine and shell out the cash or stick to pre-CS versions.

I wonder how Adobe botched up their software this time.

Well, Paint shop pro X was about 120€ when I bought it. Tried the XI (or IX...) and didn't really find anything much better for the 80€ "expansion costs". For the skinning and other things I do with it it is a bit expensive, but it has all the options I need. Never really liked gimp...

I don't see a difference between my old jasc paint shop 9 and the corel photo shop 11. Well, the appearance is more modern, cooler, and I notice it starts a bit faster, and few new options in the toolbar (that used to be somewhere else). So it leaves me kinda cold I got the new version now.

I used some cracked PSP 5 (or 6) version before it. Tried the X version and after some "culture shock" I started to really like it. It is a bit buggy and all but in the end it does what I need for the money I paid for it. Just need to save my files more often . And I guess the next PSP version will be the 15th one, there isn't really anything special happening between one or two version updates

Mjaah, I have PSP7 I bought from I brother with 20€ and works fine for skinning, tried the PSP XI Corel thingy, but I found it too heavy and sluggish for my needs

For those who have lost our CS2 cases/manuals containing the serial, surely it must be shown somewhere in the program?
