I'm trying to unpack an RAR. File and I'm not sure how to do it, and where I can get something like this. Can some one give me a hand.

is it share ware, or do you have to pay for it? just woundering?

You don't have to pay for it, but you will get a 'nag screen' if you don't.

7-zip is a free alternative withouit the nag screens.
