TBH that is really cosmetic damage, it looks bad but would be relatively easy (and dare I say it cheap by Ferrari standards) to repair. Serves the noob end right for drink driving.
dont think so looks like what stopped the car is the main cross bars in the front which are most probably bent quite badly so the whole body will be out of whack
by the looks of it theres a good chance the car would be totaled if it werent a ferrari
Yeah thats what I was thinking, I think they have an aluminum monocoque chassis, in which case it'll need to be straightened on a chassis jig and may need repair sections by a Ferrari specialist but in terms of the kind of damage usually inflicted to such cars and the value of them that's really not a lot, other than than that it'll be bodywork and the odd auxiliary pieces, hasn't even damaged either front corner by the looks of it.
A straight on impact like that tends to be fairly easy to tell where the force has been exerted/what bent and seeing as it hasn't cracked the windscreen does rather show there's been no major twisting to the chassis.
They got a shitload of pics like this! And some stupid stories with it.
Over here the poles also have a crimple zone at the bottom, so when you hit it, it will bend down, your car goes up, but the pole will not bend completely down.
If the driver did do the runner, what exactly is happening in pic19895.jpg ?
My guess is that the guy pictured in the car was drinking at the pub.
After the driver runs, he sees the opportunity of an empty, crashed Ferrari in front of him. He jumps in and gets his mate to take a photo of him in it.
Wow, that guy must have a lot of self-confidence, crushing a Ferrari for 300k bucks... but still cant beat one czech singer+radio moderator. He managed to wreck his Audi TT and some old-school Ferrari so far. And that guys bought a Modena too some tima ago
