I know that, JakG, but it isn't actually visible at all apart for maybe a second or two. This applies to any screen btw not just mid-race.

See if you can find any option in your graphicscard drivers that lets you switch the mouse pointer from hardware to software mode.
If you can't, then maybe you have something capturing the mouse running, which may lead to it not understanding what to do in Fullscreen LFS?
