Two people knew you had to be speaking of "Grand Prix" because it was the only worthwhile racing movie of that year. They knew what you were talking about. Your link isn't anything relative to the movie, those are race results of 1966. Grand Prix was a bunch of races put together, some not even an accurate assesment of the entire season.

Huh? GT40 isn't even in the whole movie... McQueen drove Porsche 917K in the movie. And he actually wanted to participate in the real 1970 Le Mans race but production company turned him down and he was not accepted.

I have not seen this Grand Prix movie but I've seen Le Mans which is great. It captures the true essence of motorsport. The material in the movie is just amazing, especially when it's mostly recorded from a real 1970 Le Mans race.
