Couldn't make it sound sarcastic, so best I could do! But what I mean was that G25 is a high-end product, but the ECCI and such equipment is top-end, and there is a large difference between them, as somone said earlier A porsche 996 is high-end, but way cheaper than a bugatti which is top-end!

Of course this is simply my opinion!
Quote from Gentlefoot :I am not looking for a perfect wheel I just expect the G25 to do exactly would the product literature says it should do perfectly. I do not feel that I should have to send back a wheel before I get one that does what Logitech states it will do. Is this somehow unreasonable?

There is always a chance that the product you just bought isn't working correctly. The G25 is a mass market product. Some percentage of the production is broken, as estimated and calculated at Logitech. Obviously people who have problems come here to tell us about them and ask advice. People who have working wheels are too busy with their HQ top-of-the-line über wheels
Sorry Gentle, but I think there is.

The G25 is 'reasonably priced'. For a clutch pedal, 900 degree, shifter/sequential wheel made of metal (in a lot of places) it's extremely well priced. Not much more than twice that of a 270 degree, two pedal (bad pedals too), no shifter Momo Racing when it was new.

It is high-end of the affordable scale.

ECCI/BRD etc etc are 'top end' wheels. Vastly more expensive. Vastly better made (not mass production) etc.

A 996 was and will never be a top end car. It is a high-end car, top of it's class maybe. But the top-end cars are the Veyrons of this world (in terms of money not ability).
I bet there were similar problems when the Momo and DFP came out.

Gentlefoot, I say give it a year, then buy the G25. More than likely all the bugs will be worked out.

ok, got the shifter problem too.
any1 got a DIY solution?

I'm having the same problem

The also seems to be some sort of kink, when shifting from 5th to 6th, which is causing misshifts. Drives me nuts! :Eyecrazy:
I guess I'll be sending it to Logitech and get it fixed. Not right now, but in a couple of weeks I'd say... still to excited about that thing to send it right back

you are right, it feels strange when changing gears now.
i find myself misshifting often in other gears too. it seems a bit off axis.
never happened before
I guess you can add me to the list with the reverse problem. I am going to call Logitech tommorrow to see how I can get this fixed.
I have the same reverse gear problem

Any solution, or just send it back to logitech?

After MOMO pedals, we have an other mass-fault
I can use 5th and 6th and reverse but 1 to 4 don't do anything in LFS.
They work fine in other sims but not LFS.
Quote from Transporter :Hey, i got my g25 today. weeee I've got one problem, it doesnt find reverse. when i gear to sixth, its number 13 in the settings, and when i push down the stick to go to reverse, its number 13 too. What should i do? I've tried pushing it down alottttt.

had the same problem and i did send it back a couple of days ago. Also it was way noisier when i steer into left direction. This shouldnt be an issue after a few weeks in use either.
Cant wait to have "another" brand new G25
Am im the only person here that does not have these problems???
