The online racing simulator
First time I actually looked at the video... and wow that thing is going to blow up!!!!

You haven't tried it in any other games? I'd say return it for a new one, that one is royally f*ked . That is just not normal, in any way at all.
I tried to set the strenght to 150% in Logitech Profiles when I played GTR2. Then the wheel started to shake in beat with the motor sound when i standed still. I also got the problem with girations from left to right.

No thats the thing, it ONLY does it in LFS

I tried the GTR2 Demo and it works ok, and under game controllers in windows it works normally with the 900 degree rotation. It seems its ONLY LFS with the Logi Profiler enabled
are you going to return it? have you spoken with Logitech? please keep me updated because i've also got this problem.

I really don't believe its a problem with the wheel to be honest. Like I said, it seems to work ok in the GTR2 demo, which is really all I have to test it on.

Can someone give me a link to try another demo game of some sort. Right now it seems to be an LFS issue
There's a demo of WTCC: Race. The actual demo is crap and shouldn't have been released as the games a LOT better, but its fine for a test.
I wouldn't keep testing ISI games, try something else like a Flatout demo, Trackmania, or something

If it is only an LFS issue, that is strange. Perhaps go into the LFS folder and delete the following files:

LFS/cfg.txt
LFS/data/misc/yourplayername.ply (delete any of the player profiles)

Also you should have the Logitech_G25_Racing_Wheel_USB.con controller profile in this Misc folder. If you have it, and deleted those files in those two places, restart LFS and setup your controls all over again (this will create new cfg and ply files). Once you do that, see if it is ok. I've attached my G25.con file here, so you can place it in your Misc folder if that is needed.

Also one thing... don't start LFS from the Logitech Profiler application if you are doing it that way. Close that application down from the background processes and start LFS from the LFS.exe.

Good info, I'll be sure to give it a shot tonight when I get home from work.
Just so I make sure I'm on the same page, you dont use Profiler at all? Or are you just not launching LFS from the profiler (I just use a shortcut on my task bar, not profiler)
No I don't use the profiler. I don't understand why people use it, it really isn't needed at all when LFS recognizes the controller like any other game would... they don't need the aid of some other application to help poll commands to the game  If you wanted to setup some custom bind, then you'd want to use the Profiler... but now the new patch in LFS almost makes the profiler obsolete because you can make your own scripts and assign controls with a wide array of choices.

As long as you start LFS from the LFS.exe in the folder (or with a shortcut) you should be ok. I never enable the profiler at all.
the profiler is a waste of time !

The simplest way to determine if your G25 is working correctly (sequential shift only, no clutch) is to plug it into a PS2 (GT4 works well). Often the configuration of the PC affects the function of the device (any device). PS2 does not have these issues and therefore provides a quick check on function.
I dont think it's a hardware problem.
I had this auto left-right oscillation problem during the straights with my Thrustmaster Rally Gt Pro wheel too.

Also, if you watch an AI driver performing a lap you 'll notice that while in a straight he does this thing exactly. He does not keep the wheel steady, he does this rapid left-right movement all over the straight.
(So I guess there's something wrong with the LFS engine here.
Also I don't have this problem in other games like RBR.)

The solution I came up with was to let the wheel take care of the FF control, (it has an option in the control panel) not the LFS and I reduced the FF in LFS from 80% down to 25%. Now it's working fine.

So, the solution I think is to keep messing up with the settings of the FF control until you find the right combination for yourself. It'll take some time but eventually you will sort it out, I hope.
Unless I'm totally wrong
i have the exact same problem. My wheel goes crazy in lfs (like on the vid), but in GTR2 and GT Legends it works brilliant. It's like a deadzone in the middle, when the wheel goes too far out it gets kicked back, and this keeps going over and over, at high speed.
hmm, kind of nice to know I'm not the only one with this problem...Still working to find a fix
mine doesnt.
Maybe re-install teh drives, and stuff and make centering sspring to 0% but keep box ticked
fluck im having the exact same problem :-( as i found out the hard way lol

i noticed this though

have a look at the line thing in the circle, the right one seem to be slightly off.

so maybe this is afterall a hardware problem

reset everything and re-calibrated it seems to be fine now
