Oh, the Blackwood track somehow reminds me of Brands Hatch with its different layouts, like rally ones, pretty similar, eh?
Quote from JTbo :Maybe this modern is thing here, I really don't like modern race tracks, specially not from those f1 tracks that one guy is designed, stop-go-stop-go-stop-go baaah, not even single challenging corner where you should carry some speed trough it. Infamous S-curve at blackwood for example is one of the best corners in LFS, took 2 years from me to learn how it should be driven, still I miss it most of times, but when you get it right it is really rewarding.

Yeah, but BL GP is like some old track but it looks like some modern just built GP track. That makes it unappealing. If it was much narrower, all safety areas removed etc. and looked really like some ruined and abandoned track, then it would be great. Something like this "ruined BL GP" texture mod: http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=134972#post134972

Yes, it looks too clean/perfect, often it is easy to make too good looking textures, too good looking shapes so they won't look real, I think this is what is problem with blackwood too. In nature nothing is precise or absolute, there is always some variance in color and shapes.
