Hello peeps,
I'm going to upgrade my old pc, so i need help on choosing the right hardware.
I need new: mobo + ram + processor + gfx, for gaming.
I'm not a fan of AMDs so i guess im gonna stick on Intel Core Duo's.
I already have IDE hdd's, and all the other hardware.
I'm willing to spend around 550 euros MAX (a range of 350-450 would be much better).
please help

There's probably a slioght price difference on some parts but a box like this can be had for around 500e.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte 965P-S3
RAM: 1GB DDR2-533
GPU: 256MB 7600GT

I'd recommend getting a good Power supply, something like an Antec Neo HE to power your new system, maybe a new case if you like.

i already have an Antec Sonata case, and a 400W Antec ps

Well in that case use your spare cash to get that 7900GS Jakg recommended instead of the 7600GT. You'll be able run ful AA and AF and LFS will look awesome. Then yuo just need a new widescreen LCD

if you got enough maybe the geforce 7950 GX2
or dual sapphire radeon x1950 pros
for the directx 10 upgrade this year
