Change rear wings
I wanna be able 2 change rear wings om lfs cars,
exemple: you drive the XRT and want more downforce on the rear, or just for the looks, then you can take the XRR wing (or another wing from a lfs car) and put it on the XRT, would be nice

sorry, bad english
It would be nice if the physical angle of the rear wing changed according to the setup on downforce cars, but I think for interchangeable rear wings you'll need to wait for Eric to produce a car class where the rear wing has an optionally different layout (such as 2 vanes, or 3).

I dont think you'll ever see anything as drastic as what you are asking though, firstly XRT in particular is a non-downforce car, and secondly, it would cause hell for skinning.

maybe you,ve right, but a downforcesetup for all cars wolud be good to have, but if I get a 3D program I can make my one wing for the cars
.... you dont even have a purpose for it than to take pictures!
(you know, there is such thing as photo editing or, what is called "digimodding")

i just wish that lowering the front and raising the rear would create some downforce but.. it doesn't

"mmm hmmm" i'd also like to see a varying angle of wing when you change it in the setups...

lol, let's give the uf1 the fxr wing... :P
haha, F1 wing on a XFG, that would looks pretty bad
but another rear wing and a splitter under the frontbumper, and maybe some cornersplitters, than you have a nice looking racecar :P
You want downforce on the XRT? Just buy S2, there is downforce on the XRT in the form of XRR. There are race versions of the demo cars in S2. You just have to purchase a license to get them.
well.. sort of

2 of them are demo cars (XFR, XRR)
the others aren't (UFR, FZR, FXR)
I know that, Have a friend have license so I have tried it, and I want it but I don´t have money for it right now
It would be more fun if you could make a little of your one looks of the car (not any nfsu shit) but just with wings and other racelooking stuff, and even make some diffrens om the car, like more downforce etc.
Wings on a road car just add drag, not downforce. And they look ricery anyway. No need.

I would like to see the wing angle visible in game one day, and perhaps one suitable cars a different wing type as Becky said above might be nice, but only on an applicable car. The road cars don't need adjusting at all.
I liked it when in Viper Racing, if you set up the car for zero rear wing angle the wing was removed altogether.
thats a good idea.. i like that batterypar
Having the wing at zero degrees does make a small difference against no wing at all. The wing is shaped, so there is still the Bernoulli effect generating lift (and drag).

not necessarily true ... they often can be used to reduce lift
i know of at least one car where taking off the wing (or any other aero parts) invalidates the abe which (for non germans) means its illegal for road use just because of the added lift without the wing
imo

wings on street cars are stupid

they server no purpose, why do you need adjustable downforce on a street car.

Usually the factory setup provides enough downforce (if any is needed in the first place), but if you want to take your street car onto track days and such, you might want adjustable downforce to increase stability and grip at higher speeds. Then again, you might want to tone it down a bit to decrease fuel consumption when cruising at 70mph on a highway.

not to pick on you Falcon, but anyone that has said this (which i know who you all are, and there are quite a few of you out there)
its in the eyes of the designer, the spoilers that are "pointless" may have no purpose than their looks, which is why they are there, may be stupid to you, but i've drawn concept cars before and there was always a spoiler just because they usually make a car look much beefier, and give them a mean, yet sporty look

as for pointlessness, lets take a car, any car you can think of, okay now lets erase all the stuff that generates no point to the overall purpose of the vehicle, so now we are left with the engine, some tires and a simple chassis... thats why there is valences, trim, clocks, leather (faux leather at that!); every little peice of a car is art

and thats why a spoiler whether useless or not, exists

You're thinking of spoilers. A spoiler is very different from the aftermarket ricer wing we are discussing here!

Heard that before.

The biggest problem with piracy, which lets be frank, you 99% probably are with that statement, is that you are missing out on what LFS is actually good at. You think you are getting the game for free but you aren't getting it at all because the AI suck and demo mode is only sometimes better. You're missing out on online play which is what LFS is all about.

no, not a Ricer wing, it´s for more drag/downforce, and yes, it gives the car a sporty look 2, not a ugly aluminium wing like on ricer cars in the fast and the furious

what exactly is the definition of a wing vs a spoiler (the words are more or less synonyms in german)

and by my definition this looks rather ricy:

Quote from XCNuse :thats not rice at all, thats stock!

thats how the mercedes 190E's looked like, i think they are awesome looking (as they should be)

i know its stock that was my point its stock and you invalidate the abe by taking it off but its fugly and looks rice

the evo1 looks a lot nicer ... and the nicest look you can get on a w201 is if you take a 16v and put evo wheel arches on but im drifting off topic
edit: and evo wheels of course
if you think its 'rice', then read my post

if you still think its 'rice', then thats just your deffinition of what "rice" is
How is it rice if it actually increases the aerodynamic performance?
