DFP Pro. + wingman
Hey guys, as of maybe past two months i've slowly noticed a problem in the gas pedel. At FULL accelertaion witht he pedels it shows less then full in the game. I did some searching and hoped that the wingman progream would help me fix it. Although it just messed everything up. I can even dirve around period in the game any more.

ANy tuts or help i sething this up.
If you open up the Logitech Profiler, you should get a screen that has your DFP in the middle of the picture then all of the controlls and commands around it. If not, click Device then select Game Controllers. If your DFP is on there then click the name and press properties, if not then try clicking Add and following the instructions. Once you have it on that list if you click properties it brings up the test screen. If you now click settings and go on calibrate you well get the calibration wizard, follow that through and see if it works. Get back to me to see if it works and i'll try to help further.
If you go in control panel > game controllers > Logitech Driving Force Pro, does the gas pedal meter go to full when u fully press the pedal? if so, its a lfs issue (highly doubt it), if not then its either a driver issue (reinstall the drivers maybe?) or a hardware issue (more likely, if ur still in warranty then get a replacement, otherwise u could try taking the pedals apart and replacing the pots(potentiometers)). Or maybe youre too weak and not pressing the pedal hard enough anymore! Or there could be a stray cable/wire thats crept under the gas pedal stopping it go all the way down (i have that problem a lot with my guitar effects pedal).

and thats me out of ideas!

EDIT: Grrr @ mcintyrej for beating me to post with a more technical post =P
Hah Hughie, you'd be more experiences with the DFP than me! I get mine on thursday!
Ive had mine a couple of months i think now. Anyways like I said, have a look in either the Logitech Profiler or in the Game Controllers thing in control panel. If it doesn't reach full in those, its a problem with the pedals themselves and you could either request a new set from http://www.logitech.com or buy some new pots (theyre not that expensive) from a hardware store. =D
