i want to go to another FIA GT race and then take some of the worn slicks (they give them away at the end of a race), two of them and a sheet of glass make a good coffee table
Lol thats awesome. I got an old Toyota engine in my backyard would make a cool coffee table.
Without reading enything I thought it was somekind of coffeemachine from the first pic as there is coffee on the table...should look more than 4 seconds I think Anyway...good for you, I would hang it on my wall

The ALMS (American LeMans Series) is gaining alot of popularity here in the States. I myself have been attending a ALMS race every year at Road America; they get 40,000 spectators for that race alone. I wish I had that bumper piece.

That would be much fun. I've been meaning to goto the scrap yard and buy a cheap car for a few pounds and strip out some toys like the engine, seats, and what have you =D

it probably has "sentimental value".
You should go to a race! They usually hold one at Laguna Seca around October; I think that is what, a 6 hour drive for you?
I was wondering why "Rockenfeller" looked familiar to me...this piece of bumper may be worth alot in the coming years.

Edit: his full name is Mike Rockenfeller...isnt "Mike" (Meekah) a girls name in Germany?

Hm...no.

Theres Mike and Maik in Germany and both are male names. Meekah would be as in Mika Häkkinen.

MeikE would be female.

Well, I had this, but had to sell it to get food around year ago when I lost job

That is not very common part, it is clutch pack limited slip differential, quite common in some cars, but for this it is very rare.

I thought, I came across reasonable.

Have to practice more.
Oh man that's great! All you have to do is add the last bits and pieces to it and you've got yourself a classic car!
