Some questions on MOMO FFB Wheel
Hey guys, I was planning to get a MOMO wheel soon, and i need some clarification on something. They say it's 240 degrees of rotation lock to lock, and this seemed way too small. I thought that it wasnt realistic at all, since even the MRT uses 270 degrees of rotation. This means when i drive the other cars (Eg: XRT, XRR, FZR etc), one small touch would make all the difference in the world. Anyone wanna comment on this?

You are of course correct but in the same time, when you get use to the wheel, you will realize that you don't actually need that much lock, and you can still control the car very precisely, in countersteering situations it's actually easier to recover the car.

its 270 - not sure where the 240 figure came from!

i have a Momo (atm...) and i can drive the XRT etc fine!
Jakg, I always thought that as well. I don't have original documentation to look at anymore, but from the logitech website:

Quote from logitech.com :
Six programmable buttons, 240 degrees of wheel rotation, and a triple clamping system complete the ultimate racing experience.

And the Momo is a great wheel. Love mine. I've been using it for 2 years now. The smaller rotation is no problem and until the DFP arrived, it was the norm for wheels.

MOMO Racing definitely has 240 degrees rotation.
@Alkanphel: It's easier to get car into slide, but also much easier to recover slide. I'm spinning every time I loose control now that I have G25
Yeah but it's abit unrealistic, isnt it? And one more qn - Can the gear shifter be placed on the right side?

Yes it is a bit unrealistic, but still very much more realistic than using mouse/keyboard. And MOMO Racing is very good wheel
Shifter is originally on right side and it can be changed to left.

Dont talk bad about keyboard control.
