Never heard of it. I saw the first Big Brother show, but after the "oh it's new" novelty wore off (fairly quickly) it turned out to be the worst crap ever to be shown on television.
Second season of Finnish Big Brother ended couple of weeks ago, I don't even know who was the actual winner, but the biggest winner was television that finally got rid of this shit.
24 day 6 airs in the US on the 14th, Prison Break is back on the 29th and Lost returns on the 7th Feb. Also Battlestar Galactica is pretty good if you've not seen the new series.
Here in the UK we are only about 1 week behind the US for most decent shows now, but of course some still choose to use their initiative
Crap, crap and crap! 24 was good for two seasons but now they churn it out so fast they don't have time to make a quality script/show. Prison Break is one of those great ideas that the US networks made into a multi-season, 24000 episode generic piece of crap. LOST is just... well, LOST up its own arse imo.
All those + every reality stuff are quite crap, imo. Galactica is ok at times, but I rather watch old one as this new one has been made to this soap opera boredom to death style.
Every hyped new serie has been really boring, imo. Yes they look pretty, but that is only chrome, you don't win races with that.
In our tv there is not much to watch, only sometimes a movie, but most of them have been shown in last 3 years few times already, then there is some bold & beatiful soap opera crap, some reality and lot of series that have been also shown several times in last 3 years.
Now anything that has big brother in it's name has too bee über crap ;D
But sure, there is people who like from those and nothing wrong, one can like whatever he likes to, as long as it is his/hers own feeling and not some 'have to like it because others like it' thing...
Wow, don't you guys watch much television? I turn the TV on about 5:45 am, watch about 5 minutes of the news to catch the weather while I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast and well...... that's about it for me for the day, LOL.
Ok, I usually have at least 1 sport that I am into watching every year. Hockey is my main sport to watch. Haven't watched much the last few years, but this year haven't missed a game. That's about it for me.
Oh, I got the wife a DVR for Christmas last year. I record all kinds of crap, but never watch any of it.
It is really easy to watch tv as I have this internet browser and in that other window I have tv, but quite often it just is at background as there is nothing interesting coming, but I think I watch all that is interesting but then again, what else to do, 0C raining outside, can't work with my car as there is just too damn dark too, can go for a walk if there is not rain (rare at this winter), that spends 2 hours nicely but can't really do what I would like to do, some oxide removal from car, rebuilding new engine for it, some brake stuff etc. as would need something more than narrow parking square for those
I understood there was every week some kind of voting who to keep in and who to kick out. You just phoned a number. I always wished they had a number for voting to end that shit program.
I only watch Oz and X-files reruns. No motorsports = no reason to turn the tv on.
Galactica was good, though a bit too soapy. Big brothers, Idols etc. are the worst form of tv shows I can imagine. The whole concept is just repulsive. Yack.
Some finnish documents are good and interesting, but usually I miss them
Shoe Maker would kill every one in the house, while Becky would try to 1337 hax0r the prize to her,and others couldnt survive a minute without playing LFS.
