Some already know what happened to me, but what mainly made me drop behind for possibly 1 or 2 laps was that I got into two incidents with the Twister team. Was frustrating since the first one looked safe when I passed one of their drivers before the last hairpin, then he has lost it during braking or something and came barreling into my car . The second incident was where I was behind a different Twister driver at the last chicane, he went wide and hit the tires and... well I broke to avoid but some slight lag ruined my judgement (impossible to know where he was going to end up), and when I just approached the tires, his car appeard rear-in-the-air and landed right on top of me . Those were my most dissapointing parts, since those crashes were beyond my control.
Afterwords I felt pretty consistent, and was always hitting in 2:23's, made a few PB's in the 22's and just raced well I thought. I didn't have many battles with anyone really, I mostly just passed people from a draft, and that is the last I saw of them (or I made a mistake somewhere occassionally, and they passed me  ). It would be nice if there were more cars on the track because there was some big gaps between cars, I was all alone most of the time.
I really thought our team would've finished in the top 5 at least, but some nasty mistakes from all of us costed us dearly. We had one disconnect and one shift-s, which wasn't too bad, but we couldn't make up any ground in such a short period of time left in the race. We were technically gaining on the places in front of us, just needed some more time
But I still had lots of fun despite the fact that accidents occurred, they happen. For a very challenging track, a lot of us did well.
Well... Again we caused a lot of trouble on track. First we'd like to apologize to everyone of you. Of course this race draws a dark light at Twister Racing and i guess we're out of MoE because of this. We don't do that on purpose of course.
The first case you are talking about was my fault. I wanted to let you pass and left the racing line to make the pass as easy as possible for you. Sadly i ran on the grass and lost the car. I hoped it would not happen and i was fully on brakes but i hit your car. I am so sorry and i feel bad having interrupted your race.
great race . grats to everyone. the driving was much better than in the first event, very nice.
i really hoped that martin would catch the n! team, he did an incredible pace in his stints. but after all this was all about fun .
sorry for my english, my brain melted in a 8-hour-singstar-party yesterday :P.
@twister racing: i hope you won't quit. this race was much cleaner this time. i cannot say much about the incident that got you disqualified. just try again next time
We had to do something about this. So our team management has dismissed Marius Golombeck from the team. It was not just his driving, honestly there were several other things we disliked about him.
He caused our DQ in this race and was also responsible for our first disqualification.
