Have this been suggested?
A slider for the mirror in Y-direction. I like to sit quite near the dash (like attached image) but unfortunately I loose the mirror in this position.
Anyone else?

That's not realistic, so you have to use the virtual one.

Nope, I use 60 FOV and it looks like he uses maybe around 50. Can't move the mirror enough with 60 degree FOV either.

Virtual mirror is the way to go.
The real mirror was moved to a more realistic position in the latest patch anyway.

Well, what is realistic or not is up to everyones perception. I just thought it could be done with a minor effort from the devs. Maybe it's hard, and if that is the case, I'd just slide back a bit and accept the popular position.

Seems like no one else like this option so consider it as wiiiining.
