I think it would be a lot better if all participants score points not just the top 10. It wouldn´t make any difference now whether you´re a good driver and finish 11th or a complete n00b and finish last. Both get absolutely no points. It would kill the fun for backmarkers. There are teams here who are slower than others, [noobs] slowest of them all.
Think of us too, please. 
The current point gap between positions is ok, just start from 40 instead of 20 for example or start from 30 pts for the winner, go to 10th with 2 pt gaps and from 10th to last with 1 pt gaps. Just a few random ideas.
