i have saved the skin to the data/skin folder but when i enter the game i can't get the skin for my car I've created a new paint and looked under the textures and i couldn't find the skin there either Also looking for cool skins and cop skins please help

The skin must be a JPG and be named correctly.

Make sure you are using the correct mehtod to assign skins. help

i saved the image to the skin to the LFS/data/skin folder as a jpeg went to the game chose the car the skin was for created a new paint scheme painted the car white went to textures and the skin was not in their

does it have the right name?
what car is it for, and whats the current name of the file?

one of the skins is for the FXO and the file name is: FXO_TRAFFIC_POLICE

its to long then, rename it to FXO_TPolice or some variation

and the other is for the FZ50 and is named: fZ5_z7policeblue2tt

i hope thats wrong at the beginning, if it is fZ5 then theres your problem, it needs to be FZ5_xxxx
it looks to long too, make it FZ5_Z7PB2TT or something of that variation
