Yes I agree.

Yes I agree/doesn't bother me, but not a priority.

It doesn't bother me either way.

No I don't think it should ever be done.

I think having a variable that gets reported to the master server, from a game server, for it's intended gametype would be good.

Something like:

Race
Drag
Drift
Rally
AutoX
Mix/All

Then, as per FPS style game server browsers; it would be good if when searching for servers, you could filter it down, to say just 'Rally' etc.

Not a terribly important suggestion, as you can get a rough idea by the track selected, but this doesn't tell you if people are going to be drifting, or whether the server is dedicated to one form so you can stick around, or it's just cycling through random ones.

That way you could just limit it down to AutoX, and only hosts that are dedicated to that at the current moment in time will show.

Oh and it also means you could filter out all Drift/AutoX servers etc.
I was having similar thoughts; it would be nice if I could filter out drift and cruise servers, that way I can find road car racing servers easier. Or rather, I can just get no results, rather than trying to find a non exist road racing server amongst all the drift and cruise servers. A definate time saver.
Very good idea.

I can still remember my embarassment when I joined a server to do some fast laps, only to crash at T5 into the admin who was on his best-ever drift lap... The server name was pretty neutral.

One thing I'd like to see is a possibility to add servers to my favourite list and ignore list. Servers in the favourite list would be always on top, despite the ping.
wheel4hummer, is there any reason why you think it shouldn't be done? Something I've overlooked maybe?
Or simply use BrowseForSpeed, allows favourites and friends list!

I would like to see this integrated, however this is an extra and is definetly not a priority, nice to see it in S3 though
I'll have to check out BrowseForSpeed, although it still wont tell you who the type of driving is aimed at.

But yes it's more of a long-term 2 cent suggestion than a required fix etc.
Very nice Idea :em31:
Really like this idea not only for sorting the Race List Server....

IF / WHEN we would get a Rating System on Public Races, we could get a Rating value for every discipline like a Rating for Rallyieng, another for Racing and like that..
Again I'd like to hear from the people that voted no just to get their views on the matter.

I like how it is now. If server is not racing server then it says on server name if they are running drift for example. I could have voted second option too, but IMO it's just waste of code.
Drag? :S

Must be an American thing.

Fair enough, I just wondered if there was a big flaw in it or not.
What about cruising?

lol... anyway... more options would be better for everyone.
Would probably be better to see a favourite server list and buddy list with in LFS. Also it would be nice to be able to get session and race length info without wasting one of your clicks.
