Oh well...I can get a good first sector, it's the second sector I suck at. I much prefer it in reverse. 
EDIT: an example of me going faster when I'm chasing - my last race online on LFS - 51.02 and I finished 5 seconds behind which shows I didn't slipstream for that time.

I've raced the British WTP, cadet O plate and cadet GP plate champion and I was less than a second slower than him at his own track. Does that count for anything?

i also got the Irish A1GP driver onto LFS recently (michael devaney) but he doesn't have enough mileage to LFS to enter this league

@Niki - well, if he's fast enough I'm sure the mileage won't matter. I have a feeling he's already met the mileage requirements in RL.
