I work out only now.. i used to train and work out..

Last year i was doing:

Martial Arts (twice a week) 1 hour each
Boxing (twice a week) 1 hour each
Running (short run = 1km, long about 10-12km)
Skipping (varys from 200-500 every night or 2)
Situps (started at 3 reps of 25, got up to 150 at 3 reps non stop)
Push ups (started at i think 2 pushups and gave up, got up to 40 per 3 reps)

That was all spaced out perfectly so my body could heal for weights..

Weights:

Benchpress:
High Reps/Low mass (30 per 3 reps/10kg)
Low reps/high mass (15 per 5reps/50kg)
Highest ever managed (80kg lifted 11 times)

Legpress:
High reps/low mass (20 per 3reps/20kg)
Low reps/high mass (10 per 3reps/60kg)
Highest ever managed (only the whole machine which was 110kg 3 times)

Arms:
High reps/low mass (24 per 4reps/7.5kg)
Low reps/high mass (8 per 3reps/15kg)
Highest ever managed (22.5kg.. didnt manage to do it propper but got it up and down afew times)

Cant be bothered typing no more.. had sholderpress, quads, under the calfs and back.

Btw, 16 years old, 75kg, 190cm tall =). Diet was perfect too.. went no further then protien shakes.. no roids.. Now i do half of that, too lazy.. met a guy named beer and some other stuff
Longboarding (20-25% of downhill cruising, 40-50% of pushing and rest is walking uphills to steep to push) during spring, summer and autumn. Winter sucks.
Quote from danowat :You run an injection moulding press?

Steam molding, EPP bead foam (like Styrofoam, only polypropylene). Except right now I am expanding the beads on our small pilot expander which means for 40 minutes I get to surf here, then for the final half hour, I get to stand in front of the 350 degree F heaters and open/close it to manually control heat . The large expanders is where I get to run up and down 120 flights of steps through the course of a day .

It's a big difference getting exercise when you are young compared to when you get older (I'm 34). I use to eat 2 Burger King Whoppers (when they were $0.99 through the summer) every single night for dinner, and sometimes for lunch as well. Back then I was a trim 175-180 pounds. Now I'm 34 and about 30 pounds overweight because I get a good home cooked meal from the wife every day, hmmmm. I guess all that basketball, volleyball, and hockey every night really helped. No time to do anything now with the kids and all.
Exercise? Is that the the thing where you go do smething energetic like running around? Bugger that lol.
I dont specifically do any exercise, i will walk most places i want to go and will walk long way home etc and i dont eat healthly either i just eat moderatly (not huge meals, fast food very rarely). I did go the gym once a week, and swimming once a week but within a couple of months i was bored and it doesnt interest me so as long as im not fat (i am a little over weight but nothing extreme) then i will keep doing what i do as im happy and i dont see the point of being bored and un happy just to loose a little bit of weight.

Edit - Its strange how public opinion and images change - 100 years ago fat (and even obese (sp?)) were considered rich and good people to marry etc but now its the opposite nearly everyone is concerned about being thin and its now perceived as the perfect image. I wonder what the 'perfect' image will be in another 100 years.
I'm on bycycle for 20km a (work)day...
I'm iceskating at saturdays...
I play tennis on thursday...
and rest = LFS
with G25 I will get more excercise for my arms, though
I currently only do lots of walking about Uni, and about 40 mins of walking a day to and from the train station. I'm looking to get back into some form of formal exercise, as whilst not overweight for my height, I'd like to have a flat stomach again (not to mention be in a bit of better shape in general). So, plenty of simple "toning" exercises (such as sit ups, etc.) at home, and lots of cycling I see in the not too distant future
Exercise? Like, leaving the house and stuff?

I really need to, I'm badly overweight (22 stone), motivation is the problem - I used to bike 12 miles for college every day and lift weights occationally which worked out good but I only work round the corner now so haven't bothered

Ok, I finally have to ask about this. What is this "stone" business? I have a conversion program in which I converted 22 stone to pounds. You saying you are 308 pounds over weight?!?!

He means he is 22 stone, not that he's 22 stone overweight.
i exercise with my lass, and on my own when she's not about

i say no more
I do but just when my brain let me do it xD
Few years ago I was obsessed with taekwondo (and jujutsu later if it was called that ). About 3 to 4 times a week. Was in pretty good shape too, use to do all my "going to places" with my bicycle. At best I used to ride about 50 kilometres per day, mostly around 20km a day though. But then the winter came and I didn't feel like spending 50€ per month in bus tickets. Doing the schoold trips et all with bike at winter in Finland isn't actually too hard, it is just that you need a lot of clothes to keep you warm and lots of clothes means also that you need to drive relatively slowly to not sweat like hell. I don't like driving slowly, so no biking in winters . And with bus trips I would have spend more time in bus/waiting than I had done the actualy excercise so no more sports either

Taekwondo was nice, maybe I could start again, don't have the motivation to do it anymore though...

I gave up office job because I was sick and tired of sitting on my rear, eating donuts at 11 every morning and getting a big round ass

I now have a job that keeps me fit and on my feet all day long, it rules, thats my exercise, I'm happy

Edit: I allmost forgot!!!> "sitting on my rear AND spamming LFSforum.net"
If you find the gym boring, try and find an indoor rock climbing gym. I was doing that for a year or so and got in really good shape, going three times a week for an hour or two. It's a lot more fun and a nice social atmosphere where I go too. That and some cycling had me at 185 - 190lbs (6ft 2in) and fairly toned which I was happy with. After about a year of being depressed, not exercising and not eating well, I'm at 235lbs and really out of shape too. Need to get back into that stuff....!
Are you guys trying to give me a bad feeling or something? First a thread about what you eat (which sucks), then another thread about how much you exercise (for me that's walking to the toilet).

Well, I get a little more exercise by riding my bike to school (8kms, and yes, I'm very tired and sweaty after that, but I'm not the slowest biker). Now I have my license so that's probably going downhill from now on...

I'm supposed to be on a diet, but I'm hungry with all this food stuff about mcdonalds

Hmmm, i used to do jogging alot! still do, I once in my hayday (about 4months ago ) jogged 6miles in summer in a suit :o

I cycle alot, love off and on road cycling! Horse riding my Girl Friends horse (im sure il get comments there ), do loads of press ups before bed and situps! (like 200 situps or more!)

Use to walk 20/25miles every friday at one stage earlier in life, but school and job came before that

Try to eat my 5 fruit a day, even tho it ends up about 3/4 , and gym on occations!

Also use to play badminton at times!

I kinda need to exercise or i would look even more weird being 6ft 5/6 :o (thats about 2 meters) tall
I find 'exercise' too dull. So I rockclimb and dirtbike. Keeps my body healthy, and also tends to trivialise a few of lifes more petty concerns...
I used to mountain bike everywhere. Down to the shops, friend`s houses, 5am trips around the country roads with the dog running behind.

Hit 30 a couple of years ago, now the most exercise I get is turning the G25 left and right, flicking the H-shifter, and stretching for a beer and a smoke between corners.
Exercising just for the sake of it has never appealed to me, so running or swimming laps or doing weights has never appealed to me one bit. However, when my exercise has a point (i.e. you're trying to defeat someone or just go somewhere) I love it! I played football (soccer), softball & cricket from age 5 until about 17 years old. After that I messed about with squash, indoor 5-a-side football (soccer) and I always jump in for some beach cricket, body surfing or hacky sack with the lads. I've always had bikes too, from about 5 years old - I just bought a 27-speed Kona to ride to work (Elwood to North Melbourne over a couple of big hills, maybe half an hour - less with some cranking tunes in the ePod) and it's quicker than it was when I caught the train into the city and just rode the rest of the way on my BMX (great bike but useless for steep hills). I tell ya, the current 30+ degree heat and bushfire smoke hanging over the city certainly makes things interesting - should also make me sweat off a few holiday kilograms (Ma! Stop feeding me already!). Also, having a dog is perfect for someone like me who's generally lazy. The wee beagle could go all day if I could be bothered trying to keep up! I love my simracing but it really only exercises my brain and, on occasion, my potty mouth

I hit 30 last year and noticed that all the pints, cans and stubbies are starting to leave their mark Because of that I think I'm subconsciously holding off on buying a car (I could've bought one with what I spent on my bike) because I know that when I start driving everywhere, I'll stop riding and become a fat bastard I'm glad Mrs Hank has to use her Forester every day or I'd be a Jabba already...
Quote from Hankstar :and, on occasion, my potty mouth

A quick OT reply for that, as I`ve never spoken to an aussie that`s less potty mouthed than us Scots
