I'm slow as hell, I knocked out a low 51 because it was needed for qualifying, since then i've gone back to try and improve - and I can hit low 51's with fair consistency but I can't seem to go lower. I guess I need time and practice to get fast with the XFG, so hopefully as the year rolls on I will get more competetive.

I'll do more practice yet though, the Stock Hatch server was running wind and it took me a while to realise this - so a lot of my practicing with lines and apex may have been thwarted by changing wind - and moving the benchmark by which I was trying to improve.

See on the Irish server, i'm quarter Irish, so i'll come on and wave my Welsh flag at you - burn the English !

I improved to a 50.68 last night. It was kinda surreal to be racing two people I've watched on TV...

There is an explanination on the actual forum.

Becky told me, although STCC is popular, theres the chance the full grid doesnt show up.

So, by having 24 racers, if 4 or more doesnt turn up, then theres the additional 4 to join and complete the grid and so on.

so when is the 1st race?

I think we all have to decide on which time suits evryone the best

Yup it's all my fault!

100% turnout is nigh on impossible for a year long series, there will be races where it is close, and races where only 10 or so turn up, and there will be some turnover of drivers 1 each round or thereabouts. That's just the nature of leagues, even popular ones.

There should, however, be a protocol in place for if there are more drivers turning up than slots available. Although the chances are not great but it could happen, perhaps pre-event sign in once the date is announced would be a fairer way of doing the first come first served on race day? Otherwise a month of practice might be for nothing purely because you grabbed a cup of coffee before firing up LFS and missed the drop !

Just fire LFS up then get your coffee Simple.
I think we should be able to drop 1 round of the championship anyway. That way if you do miss 1 round it doesn't really matter. So only 11 rounds should count, you drop your worst result.
