Due to a very long illness, its been a very long while since I last used LFS S2. I cannot remember now what patches if any I have installed in the past.

If I download the full version that includes all the patch's up to 'V', will I have to start at square one again, or will I keep my credits and such like?

Credits are gone now, so no need to worry about that... And you'll almost certainly have to calibrate your wheel and unlock again due to some things have changed recently...

As for other things, I don't know... I think you keep your training scores (not sure though)...

Credits are gone completely for now (you don't have to unlock the cars anymore), but everything that was recorded on LFSWorld will remain. Hotlaps were most definitely reset during your absence, though.
